To complete this project, students must utilize at least two materials and create a joint that will combine the two pieces.
To ensure accurate scaling and proportion, I utilize Fusion 360 for 3D modeling.
Begin with cutting the wood block to the appropriate dimensions and employing the router table to create a cavity for the key. To guarantee a perfect fit of the key in the hole, the key's size must match precisely with that of the router bit.
Afterward, transmit the 3D model file to the CNC machine to cut the sphere and the 3D printer to print the key.
After completing the cutting and printing procedures, use sandpaper to smooth the sphere's surface.
